Let Me Be ME!

Week 1,
Of the month that shouldn't be,
When I should be far,
But instead I can only dream of what I'm not,

All I have is fate and hope to start it up,
The key to ignite it, to set it going,
To show the way, the signposts,
The cameras are down,
The road clear .... but the barriers up,
And police at every junction,
PASS, PAPERS, WHERE U GOING?? they cry!!

I Just Want To Get There!!
I Just Have to Start my Way!!
OFFICER!! Let me go FREE!,
Cos they're waiting,
My life and other lives to be,
They need me there, need what will be!

No more than ME!

Will it be?

Will I be free?
When will I go down that road,
Unaided, unstopped, all the way,
I see the light, the end of the rainbow IS what will BE!
I need to be, to be free,
To FINALLY have the right to be ME,
For all to see what I can BE!!

Let it BE!

I have to believe it will happen,
Close all the doors, shut the windows,
Lock up, be safe,
Do not worry while I am away,
I Will return,
A better soul, happier face,
No one will be there in my place,
For no-one,
Knows what it is like,
Here to be ME,
Waiting to finally be free,
